Il Italian Song Festival it is one of the most awaited events of the winter. Not only music lovers, but all of Italy awaits the moment to discover some of the most beautiful songs that Italian singers have composed, melodies that will then accompany us throughout the course of the year (and in some exceptional cases, even for lifetime).
La new edition of the Sanremo Festival 2023 it will be held in the place that has always been dedicated to the various evenings: the Ariston Theater. For this year the dates of the festival have been set from 7 to 11 February 2023.
The dates were announced by the conductor and artistic director, who has been dealing with the Sanremo Festival in recent years, Amadeus.
Artists competing in the new edition of Sanremo 2023
The artists competing in the new edition of Sanremo Festival of 2023 are 28. Of these, 22 are singers chosen by the jury in charge, while another 6 singers were chosen among the winners of Sanremo Giovani. In total there will be 28 unreleased songs. Also for the 2023 edition there will be only one category in the competition, namely that of the "Artists".
Conductors and guests of Sanremo
The conductor and artistic director for this year too is Amadeus. During the various evenings he will then be joined by various co-hosts. The first evening and the final one to accompany Amadeus will be the famous influencer Chiara Ferragni. On the second evening, the co-hosting will be in the hands of the journalist and TV presenter Francesca Fagnani.
On the third evening, however, there will be a sportswoman, the volleyball player and captain of the Italian Volleyball team: Paola Egonu. During the fourth evening, however, there will be the actress, writer and comedian Chiara Francini.
Among the guests who have already been announced and who will intervene during the various days of the Sanremo Festival we find: Mahmood and Blanco (winners of the 2022 edition) who will sing their song "Brividi".
During the second evening, however, there will be as guests: Al Bano, Massimo Ranieri and Gianni Morandi.
Among the international guests however, this year there will be the Black Eyed Peas who will perform on the stage of the Ariston on 8 February.
How to participate in the Italian Music Festival in Sanremo
